El Método Feldenkrais

El método Feldenkrais es un enfoque de educación somática desarrollado por el físico y científico Moshe Feldenkrais. Su objetivo es mejorar el movimiento, la postura y la conciencia corporal a través de la neuroplasticidad y la exploración del propio cuerpo.

Principios clave:

  • Basado en la conexión entre el movimiento y el sistema nervioso.

  • Utiliza movimientos diseñados de acuerdo a dos principios, la biomecánica esquelética y el proceso humano de desarrollo neuromotor.

  • Usando un técnica didáctica específica el método Feldenkrais permite alcanzar mayor consciencia corporal mejora la funcionalidad del cuerpo.

  • Se centra en la calidad del movimiento en lugar de la repetición mecánica.

  • Ayuda a reducir tensiones, mejorar la postura y optimizar la movilidad.

Dos enfoques principales:

  1. Autoconciencia a través del movimiento (ATM): Clases grupales donde los participantes siguen instrucciones verbales para explorar movimientos especialmente diseñados y mejorar la coordinación.

  2. Integración funcional (FI): Sesiones individuales en las que el instructor guía al alumno con suaves manipulaciones para mejorar patrones de movimiento.

Reducción del dolor y el estrés.
Mejora del equilibrio y la postura.
Aumento de la conciencia corporal.
Aplicable a deportistas, artistas, personas con lesiones o a quienes buscan bienestar general.

Es un método muy utilizado en rehabilitación, danza, música y en el desarrollo personal.

Clases Especializadas

Son clases grupales online de ATM (Awareness Through Movement) que significa Consciencia a través del Movimiento. En estas clases el profesor dirige verbalmente a los alumnos en la realización de diferentes secuencias de movimiento. Estos movimientos estás especialmente diseñados para cada lección y promueven el despertar de la consciencia corporal y el descubrimiento de nuevas formas y posibilidades de movimiento. Con estas clases se mejora la postura, se diluyen tensiones y se gana en coordinación y flexibilidad.
